Kings Face Ducks In Anaheim
- Updated: January 17, 2016
The Anaheim Ducks have won the Pacific Division crown the last three seasons but coming into tonight’s battle the Los Angeles Kings look more likely to win the crown this year.
Los Angeles comes into tonight’s game with a 27-13-3 record while the Ducks sport a 19-17-7 clip.
This will be the debut for the Duck additions Adam Clendening and David Perron. Anaheim trade Carl Hagelin to the Pittsburgh Penguins late Friday night.
For Los Angeles they are coming off a loss last night but I think most fans are excited about the contract extension that Anze Kopitar just signed. Kopitar agreed to a 8-year 80 million dollar deal with the Kings. For details on that deal click here.
Los Angeles is led by Kopitar and Tyler Toffoli. Kopitar has 36 points this season, 12 points and 24 assists. Toffoli has 34 points on the year, 21 points and 13 assists.
On the other side Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf lead the Ducks. Perry has 28 points while Getzlaf has 27 on the campaign.
Tonight’s game will be full of fireworks!
