Kings Call Up Michael Mersch

According to Richard Hammond of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Kings have called up Micheal Mersch from the AHL Ontario Reign.
Kings have made the Michael Mersch call-up official.

Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com also reported the news.
Dean also confirmed Mersch is on his way up to the big club. Unclear whether he’ll be in Columbus in time for practice tomorrow.

Rosen reported further details about Mersch.
Mersch will join the team in Pittsburgh. Am told he’ll continue to wear 49.

Mersch is a former 4th round pick of the 2011 NHL draft by the Kings. Our own Phil Loos predicted that Mersch would make his way to the senior circuit sometime this year.
