Kenta Maeda To Start Game 5

According to Jon Morosi of the MLB Network, the Los Angeles Dodgers will turn to Kenta Maeda in game five of the NLCS.
One more time: Clayton Kershaw will not start Game 5. Kenta Maeda gets the ball for the #Dodgers, according to Dave Roberts. @MLB

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register also reported the news.
Roberts on starting Kershaw in Game 5: “No. No. It’s going to be Kenta (Maeda)”

Arash Markazi of ESPN.com confirmed the news.
Roberts said Kershaw told him was ready to go if needed but Roberts said the plan is to go with Kenta Maeda in Game 5 and Kershaw in Game 6.

There was some speculation that manager Dave Roberts was going to go with Kershaw in game 5 but instead the Dodgers will turn to the rookie Maeda.
Game six could be a win or go home situation, or it could be a series clincher, either way the Dodgers will put the ball in their ace’s hands.
