Kenneth Faried Too Much For Lakers, 120-109
- Updated: November 4, 2015
Kenneth Faried was too much to handle for the Los Angeles Lakers has the Denver Nuggets kept the Lakers winless last night.
The Lakers were coming off a loss to the Dallas Mavericks and hoped to get their first win last night but were unable to do so.
For Los Angeles Jordan Clarkson had a very strong game. At halftime he led the Lakers with 20 points including 4 three pointers. He ended the game with 30 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
Lou Williams was able to be productive off the bench. He scored 16 of his 24 points from the free throw line and added 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Julius Randle reached double figures with 16 points, and Kobe Bryant added 11. Bryant’s shooting woes continued as he was just 1/5 from behind the arch.
For the Nuggets Kenneth Faried had 28 points and 15 rebounds. Danilo Gallinari added 21 points and 8 rebounds. J.J. Hickson chipped in 17 and Emmanuel Mudiay had a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists.
Before the game head coach Byron Scott spoke about Mudiay saying he didn’t believe that Mudiay was a point guard. Mudiay thanked Scott after the Nuggets won.
I’m not really sure why Mudiay is acting like he was dominant. He had 6 turnovers in the game and shot just 3/13 but hey at least his team has won a game, make it two for that matter.
The Lakers will hit the road when they take on the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
