KC Royals Vs. LAA Angels Game #3 Preview

The Los Angeles Angels will try to avoid being swept when they take on the Kansas City Royals this afternoon. The Royals won game one of the series 4-2, and game two 6-4.
On the mound of the Angels today is C.J. Wilson. Wilson had an excellent debut when he took on the Mariners and comes into today’s game with a 1-0 record with a 0.00 ERA. He pitched 8 strong inning allowing just 2 hits in the Halos 2-0 win. He will look to build off of that start and help the Angels avoid the sweep.
On the other side Yordano Ventura takes the mound for the Royals. He was excellent as well he his season debut and comes into today’s game with a 1-0 record and a 1.50 ERA. On opening day he pitched 6 innings allowing 4 hits and one run. The one run was off a solo shot and Royals cruised to a 1-0 victory.
Wilson will need to slow down the Royals meat of the order. So far Eric Hosmer Alcides Escobar, Lorenzo Cain, Salvador and Kendrys Morales have recorded a hit in every game.
Mike Trout has started this season out hot but needs some of the other Angels bats to step up.
