Justin Turner Lands On 15-Day DL

According to the Los Angeles Dodgers official Twitter account third baseman Justin Turner has been placed on the 15-day disabled list due to a skin infection.
#Dodgers today optioned RHPs Mike Bolsinger & Zach Lee to @okc_dodgers & placed IF Justin Turner on the 15-day DL (retroactive to 7/27).

Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reported that the Turner was suffering from a skin infection on his right thigh earlier in the week.

It is unclear exactly how Turner got the infection but the Dodgers are hoping that it heals sooner rather than later. He has had his best season as a pro this season and some baseball people were saying that he deserved to make the All-Star team for the national league.
