Ramona Shelburne discussed Randle’s contract situation.
As expected no extension expected w/ Lakers & Julius Randle today. Team had cordial conversations but everyone understands cap space issue

Randle is a former first-round pick of the 2014 NBA Draft. He has spent his entire career with the club and has shown some great signs of growth.
Los Angeles will not extend Randle now as they look to keep cap space for the summer of 2018 when they will make a run at Paul George and LeBron James.
Los Angeles will kick off the season on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
