Juan Nicasio On Disabled List

According to J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles News Group Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Juan Nicasio has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
#Dodgers place Juan Nicasio on the 15-day DL with a left abdominal strain. Chris Hatcher activated. Corresponding 40-man move coming.

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register also reported the news.
#Dodgers Juan Nicasio had MRI on injured abdominal muscle. No structural damage. Injury occurred while warming up Thursday night

The injury comes at a time in which Nicasio was throwing his hardest of the year. Hoornstra also reported that news.
Juan Nicasio’s last pitch to Sean Rodriguez was clocked at 97 mph in PNC Park, the fastest pitch he’s thrown this season.

Nicasio is a part of the bullpen committee and the Dodgers are hoping that this is just a minor injury.
