Josh Hamilton Of Los Angeles Angels Has Successful Surgery

According to the Los Angeles Angels official team site Josh Hamilton underwent successful shoulder surgery yesterday.

It was reported earlier in the week that Hamilton would miss time due an injury but it was unknown what steps the Angels would take.
Hamilton missed time last season with upper body injuries. He was also out of Spring Training last season due to an injured calf. Since signing with the Angels he has missed his share fair of time with numerous injuries.
Josh Hamilton is expected to be out 6-8 weeks according to the Angels team site.
Hamilton’s full recovery is estimated at 6-8 weeks but the veteran outfielder is expected to resume baseball activities in 3 to 8 weeks.
