Jose Calderon Out For Season Opener

According to Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News, Los Angeles Lakers guard Jose Calderon is expected to miss the season opener against the Houston Rockets.
For season opener tomorrow vs HOU, Lakers list Calderon as doubtful (left calf), Deng (left leg) & Mozgov (tailbone) as probable

The Los Angeles Lakers confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.
Jose Calderon (calf) is expected to be out for the season opener.

Calderon joins the Lakers this season after spending the last two years with the New York Knicks. Calderon is expected to provide point guard depth as well as leadership to a young Lakers team.
With D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Marcelo Huertas all expected to play significant roles this season it will be interesting to see how Calderon plays this season.
