Jorge Ona Declared A Free Agent

According to Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com Cuban prospect Jorge Ona has been declared a free agent by the MLB and expected to sign with the San Diego Padres.

Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune also reported the news.

Ona is just 20-years of age and should demonstrate some power has he gets older. He hit .319 in 2014 in Cuba’s under-18 league.
