Jorge Lopez Collects First MLB Win, Padres Lose 4-3

SAN DIEGO, Ca- Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jorge Lopez picked up his first win of his career as the San Diego Padres fell to the Brew Crew 4-3.
For the Padres Tyson Ross got the start. He pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs. He struck out 7 and walked 3. He was awarded his 12th loss of the season.
On the other hand Lopez got the start for the Brewers. He pitched 5 innings allowing 8 hits and 3 runs. He struck out 7 and walked 2 as he picked up his 1st win of his career,
The offense got started in the first inning for the Brewers. Adam Lind hit a RBI single to center that brought in Scooter Gennett. Jean Segura followed with a RBI double and the Brewers lead 2-0.
Matt Kemp got the Padres on the board with a RBI single to left field that brought in Yangervis Solarte. This cut the lead to 2-1.
In the 4th inning Ross reached on an infield single that brought in Corey Spangenberg and tied the game at 2-2. Wil Myers followed with a RBI single to center that brought in Austin Hedges and the Padres led 3-2.
Segura hit a 2-run bomb in the 6th inning. It was his 6th of the year and brought in Khris Davis and the Brewers lead 4-3.
Francisco Rodriguez came on in the 9th inning for the Brew Crew and shut the club down. He picked up his 38th save of the year.
The Padres and Brewers will continue their series tonight at 7:10 p.m. PST
