According to Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick will start in goal for Team USA.
Jonathan Quick will start in goal for Team USA vs. Team Canada in Friday’s World Cup of Hockey pre-tournament game in Columbus.

This news broke just a few days after Anze Kopitar of the Kings was named the captain for Team Europe.

Ben Bishop is expected to be the backup for tonight’s game. and Cory Schneider is slotted as the third goalie. Quick, the four-time All-Star and two-time Stanley Cup Champion is coming off a season where he was nominated for the Vezina Trophy fort the 5th time.
Carey Price is expected to start for Canada.
