Joey Bosa Not Expected To Play In Week 2

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa is not expected to play in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills.
Chargers’ DE Joey Bosa, who visited with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson today, has a bone bruise and is not expected to play Sunday vs Buffalo and eve possibly longer, per source.

Bradley Gelber of USA Today also reported the news.
.@mortreport also added that Joey Bosa will not play on Sunday vs. the #Bills.
Said he is still a few weeks away & what he’s hearing is it could possibly be longer. Bosa is going to see the renowned Dr. Robert Anderson, which is never a good sign.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com shared his thoughts on the news.
Following today’s visit to Green Bay to visit with specialist Dr. Robert Anderson, #Chargers DE Joey Bosa (foot) is still considered week-to-week, I’m told. On one hand, there were no revelations. On the other hand, he’s not a candidate for Injured Reserve at this point.

Bosa is one of the main players in the Chargers defensive schemes and will need him back in the lineup if the Chargers want to make the playoffs this season.
