Jiri Sekac scored two goals for the Canadiens, and Cary Price recorded 44 saves as the Los Angeles Kings were unable to keep up as they lost 6-2. Tonight was a prime example of what Jeff Duarte of CaliSports was talking about when the Kings seem to struggle during the regular season.
J P.K. Subban and David Desharnais each scored a goal and recorded an assist. Andre Markov and Sven Andrighetto also scored for Montreal as the Canadiens have won two and in a row.
For the Kings, Jake Muzzin and Drew Doughty scored for goals. It has been a struggle of late for the Kings who have now dropped 3 out of the last four.
The Kings recorded 46 shots on goal to the Canadiens 20 as the puck just didn’t bounce the King’s way tonight. Tonight was game 3 of the Kings 5 game road trip as they are now 1-3 on the trip.
They will now pack their bags and head to Toronto to take on the Maple Leaves on Sunday night.
