Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders reported some of the Hornets thoughts on the addition.
CHA GM Rich Cho: “We are excited to add Jeremy Lin to our lineup. He is a talented player who we feel can make significant contributions.”

Lin spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers and struggled to really fit in. He started the season as a starter and eventually came off the bench and even received some DNP’s for a coach’s decision.
Lin confirmed the news via Twitter late Wednesday night.
