Jeff Carter To Miss World Cup of Hockey

According to Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter will miss the World Cup of Hockey due to a lower-body injury.
Jeff Carter (lower-body) replaced by Corey Perry on Canada’s World Cup roster.

Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register also reported the news.
Been out there for a bit but Ducks winger Corey Perry named to Team Canada World Cup roster, replacing Kings forward Jeff Carter.

Carter has withdrawn from the tournament although the injury doesn’t seem to be that serious. He wants to take a precautionary approach as we get closer to the start of the season.
Last season Carter played in 77 games totaling 62 points. Carter scored 24 goals to along with 38 assists and will be a major part of the Los Angeles Kings this season.
