Jeff Carter Out 6-8 Weeks With Ankle Injury

According to Bob McKenzie of TSNSports, Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter will miss six to eight weeks due to an ankle injury.
Jeff Carter undergoing surgery today to repair damaged ankle tendon. Out indefinitely. Six to eight weeks is perhaps best case scenario.

Carter has spent the last seven years with the club and will be sorely missed during his absence. Los Angeles has signed Brook Laich to help add depth to the position with Carter.
