Jeanie Buss Remains Controlling Owner For Life

The Lakers family drama looks to be over. After Jeanie Buss and the family asked brought their case to the courts a ruling was determined on Monday.
Jeanie remains on the board of directors and also remains controlling owner for the Lakers for life. Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com reported on the news.

She continued.
Adam Silver: “Jeanie is as knowledgeable and experienced as any owner in sports and the Lakers are in great hands.”

Shelburne spoke to Jeanie about the news as Janie Buss is now on the border of directors.
Jeanie Buss: “I’m also very happy that my sister Janie is becoming a Trustee. I love her, I trust her and I’m excited to work alongside her

Shelburne added.

Jim Buss has also stepped down from the board.
Essentially today’s court filings, Jim Buss stepped down as trustee & was replaced by Janie. So it’s 2-1 girls vs. boys now & Girls rule
