Indians Stay Hot Beat Angels 6-3

The Cleveland Indians are the hottest team in baseball and they continued their hot streak with a 6-3 victory overt the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Anaheim has now loss 2 in a row.
For the Halos Tyler Skaggs got the start. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 8 hits and 2 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 1 as he picked up his 6th loss of the year.
On the other side it was Mike Clevinger that got the start. He pitched 6 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run. He walked 2 and struck out 6 as he picked up his 11th loss of the year.
The offense got started in the 4th inning when Jay Bruce hit a RBI double to right that brought in Edwin Encarnacion. Robert Perez hit a solo shot in the 5th inning to push the lead to 2-0.
Anaheim answered backed when Kole Calhoun scored in the 5th inning. Yandy Diaz hit a RBI single in the 6th inning and Brandon Philips answered with a RBI single of his own in the 8th inning that brought in C.J. Cron. Austin Jackson hit a RBI single in the 9th inning that brought in Greg Allen.
Encarnacion followed with a 2-run single that brought in Francisco Lindor and Jackson and the Indians led 6-2. Justin Upton hit a solo homer in the 9th inning but it wasn’t enough for Anaheim.
