Indians Continue Remarkable Run, Top Angels 4-1

The Cleveland Indians have continued their amazing run winning 27 of their last 28 games as they beat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 4-1 on Thursday night. While the Angels dropped another game their chances at the AL Wild Card are deflating.
For the Angels Parker Bridwell got the start. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 1 as he picked up his 3rd loss of the year.
On the other side Danny Salazar got the start. He pitched 2.2 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run. He walked 2 and struck out 4 and he picked up the no decision.
The offense got the started in the first inning when Albert Pujols hit a RBI double that brought in Mike Trout. Edwin Encarnacion hit a solo home run in the second inning to tie the score at 1-1.
In the 5th inning Francisco Lindor hit a 3-run shot that brought in Giovanny Urshela and Erik Gonzalez and the Indians led 4-1. Tyler Olson picked up his 1st save of the year.
