Hyun-Jin Ryu To Start Game 1

According to the official Twitter account of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the club will start Hyun-Jin Ryu in game one of the NLDS.

Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com shared his thoughts on the news.
Hyun-Jin Ryu, who could not participate in any of the Dodgers’ last three playoff runs, on starting his first Game 1 tomorrow: “I’m obviously kind of nervous, but I think it’s a good thing. I would like to channel that nervousness into something good tomorrow.”

Ryu posted a 7-3 record with a 1.97 ERA in 15 starts this season. He struckout 89 batters in 82 innings of work.
Many expected Kershaw to get the start in game one but manager Dave Roberts threw a curveball in those plans.
