Hyun-Jin Ryu had a strong season with the Dodgers last season as he posted a 14-7 record and 3.38 ERA. If the shoulder continues to bother him he may not be ready to go by the time the season starts.
The Dodgers will be relying on Ryu and Zack Greinke to support Clayton Kershaw this season. If Ryu is out an extended period of time free agent signings Brandon McCarthy and Brett Anderson to pick up the slack.
