Huston Street May Need Season-Ending Surgery

@dyingquails

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim relief pitcher Huston Street may undergo season ending knee surgery.

Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

Street has spent the last three seasons with the Halos after spending time with the San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, and Oakland Athletics. The closer recorded 40 saves last season and posted a 3.18 ERA.

This year things have not gone as smooth for the closer. He has been struggling with various injuries and his ERA of 6.45 wasn’t anything to write home about.

As more information surfaces on Street and his injury progression we will keep you up to date.
