The Dodgers are hopefully the injury is minor and that he will be back after the 15 days is over. He had hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games and had pushed his batting average up to .296.
Kendrick suffered the injury during the Dodgers loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. As he was legging out an infield single he pulled up and was immediately taken out of the game.
The Boys in Blue will turn to Enrique Hernandez to be the primary starter at second base until Kendrick returns.
As more information surfaces on Kendrick and the injury we will keep you posted.
