Check out the excerpt of the last night’s game recap for the San Diego Padres :
“The Padres were looking to take 3 of 4 from the Arizona Diamondbacks on Mother’s Day.
A special day around Major League Baseball, it also had a lot of meaning for Padres pitcher Andrew Cashner, his mother Jane Cashner has been battling Leukemia for the past couple of months and things were not looking good for her. Jane pulled through with the help of her loving family and great doctors in Texas.
He would be opposed by Daniel Hudson, Hudson was making his first start since back-to-back Tommy John surgeries that derailed his last couple of seasons.”
