Hollywood Blvd. News – Los Angeles Lakers Edition

Lakers

The former Los Angeles Lakers, and Clippers player, Lamar Odom has been released from the hospital. The news comes after LO was found unconscious in Las Vegas, with drugs heavily flowing through his system.

Upon first look, Odom was struggling to breathe and function on his own. Over the following days he has been able to recover at a steady pace, to the point where he was responsive and breathing on his own.

Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News is now reporting that the 35 year-old has begun some early stages of physical therapy. E News is also informing us that they have moved Odom from the Las Vegas hospital he has been held, to Southern California.

Lamar isn’t out of the wood just yet, however. He has since received treatment for his kidneys and lungs while in the Sunrise Hospital at Las Vegas, and it is possible that he could experience brain damage.

SI.com explains:

The Nye County (Nev.) Sheriff’s Office confirmed reports Wednesday that Odom had used cocaine and 10 doses of a sexual performance enhancer over three days at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nev.

Let’s hope the former Lakers player can get pull through and get his life back on track. Earlier in the week I wrote about the players that have been to visit LO from the Clippers side of town, check it out here.
