Hollywood Blvd. News – Los Angeles Kings Edition
- Updated: October 21, 2015
The Los Angeles Kings can’t seem to get too much of a break. Especially after they experienced some problems with their practice yesterday morning.
When there are power outages in the neighborhoods surrounding your training facility, and you need a temperature controlled building to practice your craft, you can imagine the problems it could cause.
FoxSports.com reports the following on the Kings and their processing woes:
“The Kings were forced to cancel the on-ice portion of practice Monday for the second time this month because the ice at the Toyota Sports Center wasn’t playable.
The area just southeast of Los Angeles International Airport has endured multiple power outages in October. The training complex is also home to the Los Angeles Lakers.”
The LA Kings didn’t realize how bad the ice was before practice began. As a result, it was too late for them to find another practice location for on-ice drills.
Hopefully they can sort out this issue before it becomes a major problem for the team!
