The Los Angeles Dodgers shutout 4-0 on Wednesday night:

Buster Posey continued his hot-hitting as he went 3-4 and the Los Angeles Dodgers loss to the San Francisco Giants 4-0. This marks 3 losses in a row for the Boys in Blue.

For the Dodgers Brett Anderson got the start. He pitched 6.1 innings allowing 6 hits and 3 runs. He did strike out 7 and walk 3. This was his 2nd loss of the season.

On the other hand Tim Lincecum pitched 7 strong innings for the Giants. He allowed 3 hits and 0 runs. He struck out 4 and walked 2. He picked up his 4th win of the year.

The offense for the Giants started in the 6th inning.

Clayton Kershaw got the start today for the Boys in Blue. He pitched 7.1 innings allowing 7 hits and 4 runs. He struck out 7 and also walked 2. He picked his 3rd loss of the season.

For the defending champs Madison Bumgarner was on the bump. He pitched 6.1 innings allowing 7 hits. He also struck out 6 and walked 2. He was awarded his 5th win of the year.

Bumgarner got the offense started for the Giants in the 3rd inning. He hit a solo shot to left that gave the Giants a 1-0 lead.

In the 4th inning Hunter Pence hit a RBI single to right that brought Angel Pagan. This gave the Giants a 2-0 advantage.”
