We like to start our day searching the web and reading articles about our beloved LA sports teams. For this edition, let’s dive into the news surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers.

News broke yesterday that the Clippers’ J.J. Redick will participate in the three-point shootout at the All-Star game:

“According to Tom Haberstroth of ESPN.com Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick will be participating in the 3-point shootout at the NBA’s All-Star weekend.

J.J. Redick is heralded as one of the greatest shooters of all time. He spent his college years at Duke University and averaged 19.9 points per game, 2.7 rebounds per game, and 2.2 assists per game.

He is currently shooting 44% from deep with the Los Angeles Clippers and is averaging 14.9 points per game. J.J. Redick is currently in the top ten in the league in three point percentage and three pointers made. Bleacher Report reports the following about the three point competition:”

The Clippers managed to bring out a win against the Denver Nuggets on Monday:

“The Los Angeles Clippers used a fourth quarter rally to beat the Denver Nuggets 102-98. Tonight’s win pushes the Clippers win streak to 5 in a row.

In their last game the Clippers were able to beat the Suns by twenty, 120-100.  Tonight’s game would be much different as the Clippers would need all forty-eight minutes to beat the Nuggets.

Blake Griffin flirted with a triple-double as he scored 14 points to go along with 10 assists and 9 rebounds. Griffin did struggle from the field however as he shot just 6/17.

Chris Paul scored 15 points and had 8 assists. Jamal Crawford scored 21 of 23 points in the fourth quater to help led the Clippers to victory. His 23 points was a game high. DeAndre Jordan continued his defensive presence as he scored 7 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks.”
