We like to start our day searching the web and reading articles about our beloved LA sports teams. It’s easy to get lost in the depth of the inter web, but luckily for you we have compiled a list of the most interesting and pertinent news stories for your morning reading pleasure. For this edition, let’s dive into the news surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers.

Below is an excerpt from the Los Angeles Clippers recap:

“The Los Angeles Clippers sneaked by the Jazz tonight 101-97 in a game that went down to the wire. The Clippers were coming off a loss to the Raptors on Saturday night 110-98.

Tonight the Clippers set a franchise record as they beat the Jazz for the 12 consecutive time. Blake Griffin lead the way for the Clippers. He longed a taxing 42 minutes in the win.  He was productive tonight though as he had 24 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. J.J. Redick also played well for the Clips. He added 17 points.

DeAndre Jordan grabbed 19 rebounds, and Chris Paul well he was Chris Paul tonight. He scored 20 points, had 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Jamal Crawford added 17 points off the bench.”

Los Angeles Clippers have new assistant coaches:

“After Toronto Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez sank yet another open jumper on Saturday, Los Angeles Clippers Coach Doc Rivers turned toward the bench and took a seat. His look of resignation, with the Clippers on their way to a convincing defeat on their home court, was certainly a familiar one to the two men who sat on either side of Rivers.

To his left was Mike Woodson. To his right was Lawrence Frank. Together they are not only Rivers’s new lieutenants, but also recent ghosts of New York’s dysfunctional basketball past.

Both were jettisoned last season. Woodson’s exit as coach of the Knicks, who face the Clippers here on Wednesday, was ordained the moment Phil Jackson was handed everything but the keys to the Cablevision kingdom last March. Frank was dispatched in even more discomfiting fashion by the Nets12 months ago, demoted to writing scouting reports by the team’s then-rookie coach, Jason Kidd, who had recruited Frank to be his lead assistant. After Kidd left for Milwaukee last summer, Frank negotiated his own exit from the Nets.”
