Hedo is most known for his days playing for the Orlando Magic and the Sacramento Kings but did spend time on the Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Clippers.
Hedo known as Hero to some of his biggest fans hit some of the biggest shots in Orlando Magic history. He did spend his last two years in Los Angeles providing veteran depth to the Clippers roster.
As someone who has lived in Orlando over the last ten years Hedo embodied what it meant to be the underdog. I remembered him as one of those guys who couldn’t beat the Lakers when he play for the Queens. But after watching him in Orlando I have gained a great respect for everything he did for the Orlando Magic organization.
I heard rumors that Hedo has played in 997 career games and wanted to hit that 1,000 game mark but it looks like he won’t get that chance.
Congratulations Hedo Turkoglu for a great career! Happy Retirement!
