Hector Olivera To Debut In Double-A Today

According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Hector Olivera will make his debut in Double-A Tulsa today.

Olivera officially signed a contract with the Dodgers last month has been preparing in Arizona. Many experts believe that he will join the senior circuit at some point this season.
Olivera is a third basemen which would bump Justin Turner to the bench even though he has been playing well this season.
Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news of Olivera’s debut.

It will be interesting to see how Olivera does in Double-A and how long it will take him to join the Dodgers in Los Angeles.
