Griffin Leads Clippers Past Hornets

Blake Griffin was two assists short of a triple-double and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Charlotte Hornets 107-102 on Saturday evening. With the win Los Angeles improved to 33-21 on the season.
Griffin had 20 points, 8 assists, and 12 rebounds to lead the way for the Clippers including a monster dunk.

Austin Rivers chipped in 18 points with 16 of those coming in the second half. J.J. Redick scored 10 points of his own and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 16 rebounds.
Off the bench Jamal Crawford scored 22 points to provide an extra punch of the club. Raymond Felton chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds.
On the other side Nicolas Batum had a strong game with 25 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. Frank Kaminsky scored 20 points.
Kemba Walker who was named to his first All-Star game struggled with just 10 points. Marco Belinelli and Jeremy Lamb each reached double figures with 17 and 13 points respectively.
Los Angeles will continue their road trip when they take on the Utah Jazz on Monday night.
