George Parros Joins Department of Player Safety

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register, former Anaheim Ducks enforcer George Parros has been added to the NHL Department of player safety.

Parros was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of the 1999 NHL draft in the 8th round. He spent time with Kings, Colorado Avalanche, Ducks, Florida Panthers, and Montreal Canadians.
Parros played his college hockey at Princeton University where he was named the team captain his senior year.
Parros was a member of the 2007 Championship Ducks team and will forever be a fan favorite. The NHL continues a positive trend of bringing on former players to help in some of their administrative staff teams.
