Richards has elected this method of treatment instead of Tommy John in the hopes that he can return to the field this year. The Angels have been battling injuries all of over the diamond especially in the rotation.
Hopefully the treatment can work and Richards can return to the field. As more information surfaces we will keep you up to date.
