Gabe Kapler Expected To Join Dodgers Staff

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports Gabe Kapler is expected to join the Los Angeles Dodgers coaching staff.

Mark Saxon of ESPN.com also reported the news.

Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reported that new manger Dave Roberts has discussed an opportunity for Kapler.

Kapler is a former 57th round pick of the 1995 MLB Draft. He spent time with the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay Rays, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, and Milwaukee Brewers throughout his career. Kapler was a finalist for the Dodgers managerial role and at one point was considered a front runner for the job.
