3) Hunter Renfroe – Outfield (#71 MLB.com) Bio: Born January 28th, 1992. Bats: Right Throws: Right
Drafted in the 1st Round of the 2013 MLB Draft (13th Overall)
Scouting Report: Hunter Renfroe was drafted in 1st Round out of Mississippi State following a great junior season in which he was named to the Golden Spikes Watch-list. Renfroe best tools are his plus-power and his plus-arm defensively. He has power to all fields and makes it look relatively easy doing so. His raw power is a coveted tool in the MLB today as power numbers are down across the board. His above-average bat speed makes him a tough out as he can catch up to most fastball’s in order to square them up. Defensively, he has a great arm that he showcases from time to time. With the power and arm he sets up as a proto-typical corner outfielder, most likely landing him in right field at the Major League level. He projects as a middle of the lineup power hitter that should be a lock for 20+ home runs each season. ETA:2016
