Former Charger Vincent Jackson Found Dead In A Hotel Room In Florida

Vincent Jackson, a former NFL player with the San Diego Chargers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was found dead in his hotel room in Florida yesterday.
Jackson was living in the Homewood Suites in a suburb of Tampa in Brandon Florida for over a month. His family had filed a missing persons report, but the case was settled when he was found by the police. He was 38 years old.
In his career, Jackson was a second-round pick of the Chargers in the 2005 NFL Draft out of Northern Colorado. A three-time Pro Bowl selection in 2009, 2011, and 2012, Jackson’s career best in receptions came in 2013 when he caught 78 passes. Twice in his career he had nine touchdowns in 2009 and 2011. He ended his pro career in 2016, with 540 receptions and 9080 career yards.
