Eric Weddle Won’t Speak To Chargers Again
- Updated: January 6, 2016
According to Micheal Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle is done with the Chargers.
Eric Weddle said he probably won’t get reason why past couple weeks went as they did “because I probably won’t ever speak to them again.”

Weddle and the Chargers have had a falling out period you can say over the last few weeks. The team placed him on the injury reserve and Weddle didn’t take that too kindly. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune reported some information about the situation.
There’s no reason for Eric Weddle to be working out on field when he’s on IR except to show he can – essentially a middle finger to Chargers

Chargers also fined Weddle a few weeks ago for watching his daughter perform a halftime skit during halftime of a Chargers game. Darren Rovell of ESPN.com didn’t like the Chargers decison to fine him.
Every organization needs a common sense officer. If the Chargers had one, they would have never fined Eric Weddle for watching his daughter.

Weddle is one of the best safeties in the game and will certainly demand a lot of attention on the free agent market this offseason.
