Ducks Try To Protect Pond Against Maple Leafs

@AnaheimDucks

The Anaheim Ducks will try to protect the Pond when they take on the Maple Leafs on Wednesday night. Anaheim has found their way of late and back in the race in the division.

Toronto comes into this game with a 15-15-7 record, while the Ducks sport a 16-15-7 clip. Toronto has had four days off since their last game against the St.Louis Blues that was a victory. They should have more than fresh legs.

Jonathan Bernier will get the start in goal for Toronto. He has won three of his last four outings. The club also recalled Mark Arcobello to the parent club. The call up may mean that Byron Froese will not be able to go due to a lower body injury.

Antoine Bibeau also got the call up. James Reimer is dealing with a groin injury and will probably not be available for tonight either. Toronto acquired Jeremy Morin on Monday in exchange for Richard Panik.

The Maple Leafs are led by James van Riemsdyk and Leo Komarov. Riemsdyk leads the team with 28 points, 14 goals and 14 assists. Komarov is second on the team with 27 points, 15 goals and 12 assists.

Let’s get this win Ducks!
