Hagelin is a former 6th round pick of the New York Rangers in the 2007 NHL Draft. He spent four years with the Rangers before being traded to the Ducks this offseason.
Hagelin is one of the fastest skaters in the league but it hasn’t faired to well for Anaheim this season. In 43 games this season he has just 4 goals and 8 assists.
Perron hasn’t played too much better this year. He has just four goals and 12 assists on the season. The last few years he has been battling injuries only playing in 38 and 43 games the last two seasons.
Adam Clendening is young player who has shown some promise. Anaheim is hoping for production from their two new players.
With the move the Ducks have cleared some cap space and are hoping this will help them jockey for playoff position. As more information surfaces on the Ducks and their moves we will keep you up to date.
