Ducks Take On Washington Capitals

The Anaheim Ducks will take on the Washington Capitals in our nation’s capitol on Friday night. Anaheim is coming off a 3-1 win over the Wild in their last game.
The Ducks come into this game with a 20-18-7 record, while the Capitals sport a 35-8-3 clip. Washington has won seven out of their last eight games.
Washington will most likely be without John Carlson tonight. He is listed as doubtful as he is dealing with a lower body injury.
Brooks Laich was recently in the press praising his teammates as he was quoted saying this was undoubtedly the best team he’s ever played on.
Washington is led by Evgeny Kuznetsov, Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin. Kuznetsov leads the team with 48 points on the season, 15 goals and 33 assists.
Backstrom has 44 points on the year, 15 goals and 29 assists. Ovechkin is at 42 points, 28 goals and 14 assists on the year.
Washington is the best team in hockey thus far and it will be a tough task for Anaheim on the road. Fans can tune into to the NHL Network to watch the game.
