Ducks Struggle In Buffalo Get Shutout 3-0

The Anaheim Ducks struggled in Buffalo last night as they fell 3-0. Chad Johnson dominated in the net making 44 saves and the Ducks season struggles continued.
In the first period things didn’t look too bad for the Ducks. They outshot the Sabres 14-8 but neither team was able to find the back of the net.
It was Evander Kane who got the scoring started in the second period. He scored a tip-in shot that was assisted by Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart and gave the Sabres a 1-0 lead.
Jack McCabe made matters worst for the Ducks when he scored a tip-in shot. He goal was assisted by Cal O’Reilly and Nicolas Deslauriers. This pushed the lead to 2-0 the end of the period.
Jamie McGinn put the icing on the cake for the Sabres when he scored a wrist shot goal. He goal was assisted by Rasmus Ristolainen and Josh Gorges.
John Gibson struggled in net last night. Gibson made 19 saves and allowed three goals.
It looks like the rest the Ducks didn’t help them at all. They will take on the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night.
