Ducks Select Max Jones

According to Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times the Anaheim Ducks have selected Max Jones in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
Ducks take Max Jones, ranked 14th among North American skaters by Central Scouting; gives ANA another winger w/ edge (Nick Ritchie).

Greg Bachman of the Associated Press also reported the news.
Ducks choice Max Jones’ dad, Brad, played 53 games for the 1990-91 LA Kings. He scored 20 points _ just 143 fewer than Wayne Gretzky.

Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reported some details on the prospect.
Michigan-born Max Jones had 28 goals, 24 assists, 106 penalty minutes in 63 games. Has suspension history.

Jones struggles with consistency and ended up serving a 12-game suspension for a blindside head shot in the OHL. He will like spend time in the AHL to develop his skills.
