Ducks Reach Extension With Josh Manson

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register the Anaheim Ducks have reached an extension with defenseman Josh Manson.
Ducks sign defenseman Josh Manson to a two-year extension worth $1.65 million. One-way deal through 2017-18, $825,000 each season.

Manson with selected in the 6th round of the 2011 NHL draft by the Ducks. He played in 28 games for the club last season.
He spent a majority of the year last season with the AHL Norfolk before being called up to the NHL. The Ducks see some promise in Manson. At just 23 years old he has plenty of growth and time to develop at the professional level.
