Ducks Push Streak to 6

The Anaheim Ducks pushed their streak to six in a row when they beat the Buffalo Sabres last night 1-0. Anaheim is hot and they are closing the gap on the LA Kings lead in the Pacific Division.
In the first period neither team was able to score but Buffalo outshot the Ducks 9-6. In the second period Sami Vatanen scored a wrist shot goal that gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead. His goal was assisted by Ryan Getzlaf and Hampus Lindholm.
Anaheim outshot the Buffalo in the second period 15-11. The third period also saw no goal but Anaheim outshot the Sabres 8-6 in the period as well.
Robin Lehner made 28 saves for the Sabres for a 96% save percentage. Frederik Andersen recorded a shutout with 26 saves for a 100% save percentage.
Up next for Anaheim is the Edmonton Oilers on Friday night at the Honda Center. Edmonton is struggling as they have lost for five games in a row as of now.
Edmonton will take on the LA Kings tonight.
