Ducks Pour Six Goals On Flyers

The Anaheim Ducks poured six goals on the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday and won 6-2. Anaheim is now on a two-game winning streak.

The offense got started in the first period when Sean Couturier scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek. Ondrej Kase answered back with a tip-in shot goal that was assisted by Derek Grant and score was tied at 1-1 after the first period.

In the second period, Brandon Montour got things started with a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Kalle Kossila and Francois Beauchemin. Nick Ritchie followed with a backhanded goal that was assisted by Hampus Lindholm and Kevin Bieksa. Rickard Rakell capped things off with a snapshot goal that was assisted by Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry and the Ducks led 4-1 after the 2nd period.

Getzlaf scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Perry in the 3rd period. Couturier scored his second goal of the night later in the period. It was assisted by Travis Sanheim and Jakub Voracek.

Kase scored a penalty shot goal that ended the night with the Ducks taking the victory 6-2. John Gibson made 31 saves for a 94% save percentage.

Up next for Anaheim they will take on the Florida Panthers on Thursday night at the BB&T Center.
