Ducks Place Clayton Stoner On IR

According to Mark Spector of Sportsnet.ca the Anaheim Ducks have placed defender Clayton Stoner on the injury reserve.

Stoner was originally drafted in the 3rd round of the 2004 NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild. He spent 5 years in Minnesota before joining the Ducks last season.
Stoner has been in the news for his hunting of a bear in which he posted a picture of on the internet. PETA has not taken the killing lightly and has called for the Ducks to suspended him for the full season.
Details on his injury are known but it is serious enough to place him on the IR. As more information surfaces on the injury we will keep you updated.
