Ducks Don’t Extend QO To Brandon Pirri

@theScoreNHL

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register the Anaheim Ducks have not extended a qualifying offer to center Brandon Pirri.

Pirri is a former second round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks back in 2009. He spent four seasons with the Blackhawks before joining the Florida Panthers.

Last season Anaheim acquired the 25-year old from the Panthers for a sixth round pick. In the 2014-2015 season Pirri scored 22 goals for the Panthers.

Although he didn’t score 20 goals last season he did have 14 goals and 15 assists. Being that Pirri is still young and has shown his ability to score there should be plenty of suitors for his services.

Anaheim failed to live up to expectations last year and look to be making some changes to the roster before next season.
